California Giant Berry Farms and Concord Foods are partnering on a November baking promotion for the start of the South American blueberry season.

The Berry Sweet Baking contest runs Nov. 1-30.

Watsonville, Calif.-based California Giant has expanded its South American blueberry program by 20% this year. The company plans to continue annual volume increases due to rising demand for fresh fruit, according to a news release.

The promotion is designed to encourage consumers to submit an original recipe with California Giant blueberries and Concord Foods muffin mix as ingredients, according to a news release.

The contest can be entered online. Quick response codes on fresh blueberry packaging will link to the website.

Several winners will receive gift cards and fresh product from both companies. Winning recipes will be featured on the social media of each after the promotion and into the holiday season.

During November, Concord Foods and California Giant plan to feature the promotion on YouTube and other social media.
