In this country presentation, Dr. Takato Tamada introduces Japan’s blueberry industry, describing production zones, production challenges and consumer demand. Tamada describes small-scale production and limited supply, contrasted by strong consumer demand. Healthy demand for imports from Chile, the United States and Mexico indicates potential for Japan’s domestic market.
