The 2026 IBO Report records a Blueberry Industry Net Promoter Score (NPS) of 39.6, a result considered “great” by standard NPS benchmarks. NPS is a widely used measure of confidence and advocacy, scored from -100 to 100, with results of 30 to 70 considered “great”. Here, it measures how likely professionals are to recommend investing in, joining or working in the blueberry industry. The result shows a sector whose participants remain confident in its long-term prospects.
Based on 1,120 responses from 68 countries, the results also highlight markets with notable momentum. The United Kingdom nearly doubled its score, from 31.4 to 60.5, and Chile rose from 26.1 to 45.9. Ecuador, Zimbabwe, Romania and Colombia were the most optimistic markets, each scoring above 60. Across the value chain, associations, marketers and nurseries reported the highest enthusiasm, and IBO members recorded an NPS of 51.4, well above the industry average.
The weight of these findings comes from who is behind them. CEOs formed the largest group of respondents, with nearly 250 participants. Together with upper management, they account for roughly one third of all responses. The NPS therefore reflects the outlook of the leaders who set strategy and guide investment across the global blueberry industry, and that outlook remains positive.
