China Blueberry Committee (CBC) was strategically instituted under the auspices of the China Chamber of Commerce for Import & Export of Foodstuffs, Native Produce and Animal By-Products (CFNA) in November 2024, CBC represents a strategic consortium uniting industry leaders such as Joy Wing Mau, Driscoll’s as inaugural members. This institutional innovation responds to the sector’s transformational leap — evolving from niche cultivation to a globally integrated agribusiness ecosystem.

China’s blueberry cultivation, initially pioneered in northeastern regions 30 years ago, has undergone transformative growth in recent years to emerge as a globally competitive sector.
The current blueberry growing area now spans 85,000 hectares, maintaining rapid expansion momentum. while presenting both strategic opportunities and developmental challenges. The establishment of CBC is committed to fostering the sustained, healthy, and stable development of China’s blueberry industry, safeguarding the interests of industry participants and consumers, and contributing China’s strength to the advancement of the global blueberry sector.
