China International Blueberry Conference shared international experience

The first "Qingdao International Blueberry Blueberry Festival and the China International Blueberry Conference" (CIBC) was held in Qingdao, on June 8, 2013.

The conference was organized by the Qingdao Municipal People's Government and China Association of agricultural markets, jointly by Qingdao Agriculture Commission, Huangdao District People's Government, Joyvio Group. It is known that this is the most authoritative platform in China nowadays in terms of blueberry industrial development and international academic exchange.

Focusing in global attention, the conference gathered industry consensus and shared international experience to facilitate the development of Chinese blueberry industry leading a green and healthy lifestyle of Chinese people. The assembly, converged with many contents such as peak dialogue, industry development forum and technology forums.

The event attracted industry leaders, experts, scholars of international blueberry industry as well as many blueberry growers assembled in Qingdao. With the participation of industry leaders from the International Blueberry Organization, the US Highbush Blueberry Council, the Chilean Blueberry Committee, British Columbia Blueberry Council in Canada and Global blueberry industries; also academic experts from the University of Florida, Chile’s National Institute for Agricultural Research and Australia. Numerous domestic industry elites gathered to share the latest trends in the global blueberry industry and development experience to offer advice and suggestions for the development of Chinese blueberry industry.

During the blueberry festival, a number of blueberry ecological parks opened to people, such as Legend Holdings Joyvio, Donggang Houren, Lanbaoshi, Lijiagou, Cangma Hill, Hanjialiu, Hui Hai, Tianlongda, allowing people to experience the charm of blueberries.
