IBO Meeting Objectives & Preliminary Meeting Agenda

Annual Meetings

It has been generally agreed that the most convenient time to meet for delegates from both
hemispheres would be held annually during the month of April. Given harvest timing, it was
decided that the next meeting will be held in California April 2012.

Delegates would be responsible for transportation to and from the meeting site, as well as all
hotel charges. Individual country organizations can decide whether or not to reimburse their
delegate’s expenses. It is expected that the delegates will not only represent the interests of their
regional area, they will also be responsible for sharing with their constituents the knowledge and
insights gained as part of the process.

The new IBO by-laws confirm that individual countries can send delegates from multiple
organizations, but they must caucus and agree to cast a single country vote, when decisions are
confirmed during the conference.
