Naturipe Farms touts berries, local
April 22, 2016

sal-naturipe_PRAs California strawberry volumes begin to peak in May, Naturipe Farms will seek retail promotions and capitalize on locally grown fruit where it can.

“We encourage retailers to display a full berry patch of strawberries, blueberries, raspberries and blackberries,” Kyla Oberman, Naturipe director of marketing, said in mid-April.

“A large, colorful, fragrant display of fresh berries is a great way to attract consumers and encourage impulse purchases, if it’s not already on their shopping list.”

“More than one display within the store also helps ensure berries get put into the shopping cart,” she said.

“This time of year gives our local growers the chance to shine by being featured on Naturipe point-of-sale materials, website and social media,” Oberman said.
